'The Heavy Metal Hero' one of Matthews’ most popular and enduring images. Inspired by his father's working model of The Flying Scotsman, the now iconic train was originally designed for a poster. Itwas later licensed by Silmarils as the cover art for their video game Transarctica, then by Diamond Head for their 'Am I Evil?' album cover, and then by Ride, as one of ten Matthews designs to appear on their snowboards. Most recently, the image inspired a track for Matthews' album Trinity. Available in two sizes -
