Commissioned as cover art for the UK re-release of 'Lonesome Crow', an by German band Scorpions.  A single crow survives in this post-apocalyptic scene.  As well of course, does the scorpion, which is reputed to have a resistance to radiation 200 hundred times greater than humans.
