As a voracious reader of Elric books as a kid I was already a big fan of Rodney's work without realising it. It wasn’t until an ateacher at school profiled Rodney and gave us an assignment based on his style that I discovered that all of those book and album covers I loved were created by the same person.
This print has all the elements that young (and old) me loved so much - the vibrant colours, dreamy landscapes, amazing architecture, and of course, my man Elric (plus it's a Diamond Head cover). Love it!
Art that I’ve always loved.
And it’s beautiful on the heavy art paper can’t wait to get it framed and on the wall.
I have the warrior tattoo on my upper right arm.
We have story tellers night as well which is also an incredible piece of art. Rodney matthews a giant among artists in the rock music genre.
we grow old but our memories stay young
