A signed original pencil drawing on tracing paper from 1978.  Titled 'Detail from The Forgotten Beasts of Eld - Dragon'.  The full colour image was commissioned by Avon Books (New York City) as cover art for Patricia A McKillip's novel The Forgotten Beasts of Eld.

Authentication is provided by an accompanying certificate of authenticity, which will be "genuine original artwork" stamped, dated and hand-signed by Rodney Matthews.

Measures 382 (h) x 299 (w) mm, inclusive of mount.

A crease is visible across the image.  The condition is reflected in the price.
