DESCRIPTION

Perhaps one of Matthews' best-loved images?  Commissioned in 1985 by FM Records on behalf of Magnum.  The content suggestion came from Magnum’s Tony Clarkin.  The Tavern’s interior is reminiscent of The George Inn at Norton St. Phillip, near Matthews' former home in Somerset.  Background details include two of Matthews' previous album covers for the band, whilst his own dog Patch is under the table.  The artwork, which was required urgently, was completed in just 10 days!

Simply Beautiful

A wonderful addition to other album cover prints I have like Nazareth and Jethro Tull, Magnum, Diamond Head etc. Very nostalgic, When young, a major part of buying an LP was the cover. Rodney and Sarah provide these prints and other merchandise at (I think) a very accessible cost to fans, even all the way on the other side of the world. Isn't it awesome to own something with his signature on it?!!

Iconic picture

Such an iconic album cover, and comes in a very high quality print with such vibrant colours, took my breath away when I first opened the packaging. So happy with it.

Oh, having it signed too is the icing on the cake!
