Musical Updates
Sorry that this is not a full-scale blog tonight, but we've had a very busy week! It's all been very musical really ...
We got a call from Rose Calendars at the start of the week to say printing had begun on our 2020 calendar, Electric Rock II, which features 12 months of album cover art:
Electric Rock II, 2020 calendar - hot off the Kodak SX3900 NexPress
We've been informed that it has once again been put forward for the judges to view at this year's calendars awards (I guess I might have mentioned that we won best bespoke calendar at last year's Calies!?) We expect to have the calendars in our possession at some point during the week beginning 16th September and will send out all pre-orders right away. If you haven't seen them in our shop yet, here's what they look like:
Not to be outdone by his son, this year's cover features Friendly Fred himself

I've spent most of my time this week at my drums, practising to record the drum track for the Christmas single CD and Card package that I am working on with Oliver Wakeman. In a similar vein to the 'I Saw Three Ships' one that I did a few years ago, this will be a proggy version of 'In the Bleak Midwinter.' I have painted an image especially for the project and look forward to revealing it to you soon.
Sarah has finally completed the graphics for the packaging and advertising of 'Trinity' - the album, which I have speaking about for a long time, is happening! The mixed and mastered recording will be making its way to the the respective CD and vinyl pressing plants soon. It is due for release this autumn and will be going on pre-sale very soon. We will keep you updated on when, where and how to get your hands on a copy.
Good news for Rick Wakeman fans - he has signed all of 'The Ether Stream' (2000 A.D. Into the Future) limited edition prints.
'The Ether Stream' - limited edition run of 50 fine art giclée prints
We will be collecting them this coming week and will begin sending out pre-orders. If you haven't got your one yet or you'd like more information, please click here.
I must say good night for now, my drums are calling ...
