The Witch World series of eight paperback cover designs were commissioned in 1977 by Dom Rodi, the art director at Tandem/Universal Books, who had seen some of Matthews' Moorcock covers. Matthews had difficulty drawing the flyer in this image, at the angle he wanted, so eventually made a Plasticine model to draw from. He would like to know whether a working model could be made of this design?
